Disc Pressures //

In the two studies shown a comparison of disc pressures was made. In the Wilke study a new sitting position reclined by 135 degrees reduced disc pressure by 50% of the index and this position you can find on exercise bikes in gyms and in some office seating. NASA did the research on this and as you can see from the photograph that an astronaut naturally adopts this balanced position in a weightless environment
